Our meals at the Royal Palm Marrakech were out of this world delicious! There are three different restaurants: Al Ain, Le Caravane, Le Palm and L’Olivier.
If you choose to dine at Al Ain, you will enjoy a view of the magnificent golf course and enjoy Moroccan cuisine prepared by chef Meryam Diane. She brings culinary expertise from her work at other fine dining establishments including the Atlantic Palace and the Grand Doha Hotel in Qatar. While the flavors are decidedly Moroccan, you will also find influence from other Arabic countries. Signature dishes include pigeon soup, chicken tajine with lemon and Lamb tajine with prunes or vegetables.
At Le Caravane you can enjoy a romantic dinner with vintage travel decor including old trunks and other memorabilia. You can opt for dinner in a private lounge or in front of the fireplace at the Captain’s table, among many dining options. The menu at Le Caravane is centered around rotisserie, allowing diners to choose their meats, which are then sliced and served at the table with fresh local produce.
There is an unbelievable wine cellar in the center of the dining room, with a varietal for every one! I personally loved the selection of local Moroccan wines There are fantastic seafood dishes, and don’t miss the signature dishes: Caravane of duck foie gras, semi-cooked in a cloth or the Souira blue lobster stew in Cabernet Sauvignon.
Lastly, L’Olivier provides dining with a view of the Atlas Mountains. L’Olivier offers lighter Moroccan fare overlooking the pool. It’s a perfect spot to grab a lunch of tuna tartar with olive oil, lime and ginger or the prawn soup with coconut milk, lemongrass, and ginger– delish!
I can guarantee your taste buds won’t be disappointed during your stay at the Royal Palm Marrakech; every meal I had was unbelievably delicious!
