For those of you who haven’t heard of this up and comer, you certainly will soon. In a business where styles are copied on the daily, Georgine breathes a breath of fresh air into every new season with her collections. This past week’s show at NYFW was no exception. Many of the pieces throughout the collection reflected that alternative 60s vibe- very reminiscent of the glamour in the clothes you would have found on Edie Sedgwick and the other girls who hung around Andy Warhol’s Factory. From the backless denim stretch jumpsuit that opened the show to the flower print dress with the proper purple collar and the pink fur sleeves, you could feel the nostalgia of those bygone days.
