As you know from my previous post about the Generator Hostel Venice, I had a fabulous time during my stay there! Among the many things that set the Generator apart from other hostel experience is the food. It’s definitely not your typical hostel fare! Whether you are looking for a great cocktail, a light snack, or a heartier meal, you can find something to suit your needs on the menu at all of the Generator Hostel locations.
The extensive drink menu at the Generator Hostels offers anything from espresso and soda to regional cocktails like a Spritz Veneziano. In addition to cocktails, there is a selection of bottled beers, wines and pretty much any hard liquor you would want! Prices obviously vary based on location, but they are competitive with other local bars and eateries.
The cafés at the Generator Hostels are open 24 hours and offer everything from light breakfast foods to bar snacks and candy. The Generator categorizes their food into light, medium, and heavy fillers. Light fillers include appetizers like nachos, wings, and french fries. Medium fillers are items like caesar salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches, in addition to dishes with a regional flair. For example, in Copenhagen, you will find Danish meatballs on the medium filler menu. In Venice, you will find a variety of pasta dishes.
Heavier fillers include burgers (on most of the Generator Hostel menus), pizzas, and items like fish and chips in London. Items are affordable and delectable, with something for everyone on the menu. To check out the various Generator hostel menus, simply visit the Generator website HERE. You can click on any of the locations, and then locate the café, cocktail, and bar menus.
This post made this pregnant mamas mouth water! What an amazing array for a hostel!
