Gypsetter, Miki Agrawal conjured up the concept of New York City’s WILD when she realized that your standard pizza place can use questionable ingredients when crafting your favorite pie.
Determined to evolve the current pizza experience, Agrawal opened WILD– a pizza shop that is fun, sustainable, and delicious. It is where you can eat your favorite comfort food without sacrificing anything.
The restaurant takes pride in its exclusive offering of gluten-free crust and mostly vegan ingredients. Sweet capicola and bacon are the only meat options available. They even claim that their pizzas will make you think more clearly and speak more eloquently due to the sheer cleanliness of their ingredients. What more could a Gypsetter want?
Agrawal also promotes a community atmosphere at WILD. They offer Pizza Making 101, where “students” will learn how to make dough from scratch, become a historian of pizza, and knead and spread dough. They also offer the option to pair wine with your pizza making experience using local vineyards such as Fox Run Vineyards in Finger Lakes, New York and Widow’s Walk Wines in the North Fork of Long Island. These classes are available for all sorts of events, from birthdays to team building events.
Oh looks divine, that drink.. yum. Love the brick wall too 🙂
