With Figue (named for her favorite fruit as a child growing up in Italy….and one of mine đ ), Stephanie Von Watzdorf perfectly captures the bohemian spirit with this collection. Her clothing line incorporates her love of travel through the inclusion of pieces that are perfect for circling the globe. The Figue collection includes items like kaftans, tunics, dresses, etc., many of which are adorned with hand beading. Perfect for your trip to Bali or the Baleric Islands.
The Figue line also incorporates unique reclaimed items and limited edition jewelry. Von Watzdorfâs love of Paris, London, and the Mediterranean are reflected in her designs. While at New Yorkâs Parsons School of Design, she received the prestigious Calvin Klein Gold Thimble award.
She worked at a number of the major fashion houses (including Giorgio Armani, Ann Taylor, Ralph Lauren, and Tory Burch) before starting her own line. The Figue Boutique is located in New York City at 268 Elizabeth Street.
One of the many things that I love about Figue is that it is also a socially conscious company. Among the charities that benefit from Figueâs financial support are the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Animal Haven, and the Ethiopian Childrenâs Fund (ECF). Socially conscious gypset style…it doesn’t get better than that. Thanks stephanie! đ
