One of my favorite new designers is the amazingly talented Georgine Ratelband of the über-chic fashion label Georgine. Ratelband is carving out her own path in the often imitated world of fashion design. Giving a nod to the bohemian luxury of the 60s and 70s, Ratelband takes her collections to the next level– breathing fresh air into each Fashion Week she is a part of, by demonstrating design and craftsmanship that isn’t seen on every catwalk.
Ratelband launched her luxury women’s ready to wear line in New York City in 2011, and it embodies a feminine, flirty feel and reflects her world travels evident in the textures and colors in the textiles she uses in her designs. These luxurious fabrics are sourced from the finest mills in France and Italy. Here are some of her looks from the S/S 2015 collection that I’m loving:
