Gypset Style ~ Letarte and the Spirit of Aloha

I found these amazing pieces (I especially love the crochet shorts) from Letarte and had to share them with all of my Gypsetgirl followers. Letarte designs many different styles of elite swimwear, coverups and sportswear; but I really love these pieces for their bohemian essence and chic global aesthetic. The trademarked prints, intricate adornment, and lavish detail are unique to the Maui-based label founded by gypset sisters Lisa Letarte Cabrinha and Michele Letarte Ross.

The line, founded in 2000, is infused with the sister’s jet-setting lifestyle and the “spirit of Aloha.” These signature crochet hot shorts in white (also available in other colors) have an embroidered tie and an elastic waistband. They are the perfect boho touch to any trendy swimsuit.

White crochet hot shorts- LOVE!

These navy crinkle athletic lounge pants tie in the front and are elastic at the bottom– perfect for the beach or a stylish option for comfort on a long flight.

These grey crinkly double-layered, wide-leg lounge pants tie on the left side. They are 100% acrylic and also have shell dangles on the ends of the ties. These pants are versatile, as they can be worn to the beach, around the house, or after a great yoga session. They are the effortless fusion of comfort and gypset style.

These are crinkled double layer shorts with ties on the left side that have shells dangling from them as well (providing that island feel). The shorts are also 100% acrylic and can easily be paired with any beachy outfit or swimsuit.

Finally, the white crochet skirt is the perfect fit for someone who prefers skirts over shorts. At the moment, it is only available on the site Cameo Nouveau. These adorable cover ups are 100% cotton and are made in the USA– the company was recently inducted into the Made in the USA Hall of Fame. Beautiful work ladies!
