Earlier this week I was in Barney’s shoe department for a little retail therapy. Most of the shoes I saw were reminiscent of something I already had, until I spotted this fab pair of shoes from Paul Andrew (see picture). I knew I had to have them…they were the perfect spring/summer shoes oozing gypset style. These shoes are perfect for any reason to spontaneously dress up your outfit, from a black tie event to boy friend jeans and a simple white t-shirt….you can’t miss. But be prepared to have your girl friends run out and buy them too! I’ve already had two of mine make the trip to Barneys to buy their own pair. 😉
For those of you not yet familiar with Paul Andrew, he is a British-born/New York-based designer who burst onto the scene with his Spring 2013 collection of luxury shoes. Prior to stepping out on his own he worked for Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen, and Narciso Rodriguez. His gorgeous designs are manufactured in Italy and feature hand-made craftsmanship and high quality materials.
Andrew’s style has been described as “sexy without severity.” One look at his Spring 2014 collection, and you are guaranteed to find something you will love!
