Today Kate Moss debuts her brand new collection for Topshop, a store for which she also designed in 2007. She recently said: “I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop.” The new collection will be available in Topshop stores and online via their website. Nordstrom will also carry the line, along with Net-a-porter.com. Beginning today, you can now shop the collection.
Many of the pieces in her new collection are inspired by the vintage looks that you can find in her own closet. Her goal was to develop pieces that are timeless. The collection contains a total of 61 items. One of the most recognizable pieces is based on a piece that Moss wore to a magazine event in 2003–one of her most famous looks.
This collection can be divided into 4 different categories: “Balearic Dressing,” “Cocktail Hour,” “Pajama Party,” and “Tailoring Noir.” The collection steps up the luxury element a bit from her 2007 collection. The great thing about her line is that although it screams vintage and luxury, the price points will be much more attainable for the average gypsetter. My favorite of course is the Balearic collection, featured in the blog, which drips gypset style. This collection is sure to sell out quickly, so get shopping!
