I just spent an amazing and inspiring few days in Paris attending Fashion Week and Paris Sur Mode (one of the buyers markets for Ready-To-Wear), before a quick stopover in London to beat the beginning of a winter “chasing” summer.
Paris had so much to offer in terms of getting in touch with designers, and I am hoping to have a long and creative relationship with them– helping to promote their unique, effortless, and fresh brands.
From the runways of the mega brands like Chloe and Kenzo, there were varying shades of blue. There were gorgeous painted prints from Celine and Christian Dior and a surplus of high-waisted shorts from designers like Balenciaga and Emmanuel Ungaro (they would make any girl week in the knees!). On the street is where the gypset vibe came through. The harem pants, booties, and beaded jewelry that all the cool kids were running around in made Fashion Week 2014 even more interesting for me.
Check out a few of the pieces from some of the designers I discovered. The pieces will be revealed on the blog when the spring lines debut this winter (the designers wanted them hush-hush until then). 😉
